MO BLACKWOOD
Mo lives in London and has written and directed three short films, including HOME AWAY FROM HOME which was part of official selection, Semaine de la Critique at Cannes Film Festival 1994. In addition to her ensemble drama, PIECES OF
THE DREAM which is being produced by Gayle Griffiths, Mo has recently had SAYING I LOVE YOU IN SLOW MOTION, a quirky romance set in Estonia optioned. At present she is working on MEETING GOD, an off-beat multi-perspective
romantic comedy charting the development of a menage a trois and MUTE, a psychological drama about the impact a revelation has on a young man's life. Her Mentor is JULIAN FELLOWES (Gosford Park, Separate Lies).
TREVOR CAMPBELL
Trevor is new to the British Film Industry. Trevor worked
in journalism and has written three feature scripts
including his wonderfully witty script, THE BIG SALAD.
Trevor is Irish and lives in London. His Mentor is HENRY
NORMAL (The Parole Officer).
TERESA GODFREY
Teresa has written four feature films including the beautifully
executed BLACK HARVEST which is being produced by Powerstone Films in
Co. Down. Teresa lives in Ballycastle. Her Mentor is DEBORAH MOGGACH
(Pride and Prejudice).
KAS GRAHAM
Kas has written several screenplays, including the poignant coming-of-age tale, MY FATHER BATTLES WHALES, which has Polish director Lukasz Karwowski attached, and the thriller, LAST PASSENGER, to be directed by Omid Nooshin. Kas lives in London, and is represented by Christine Glover at AP Watt. His mentor is SHAWN SLOVO (Captain Corelli's Mandolin).

JASON KING
Jason has written a selection of successful short films
and has worked either as a director or in the position
of a producer / developer on a number of fully commissioned
short films. He is at present working on his first feature
length scripts, the compelling drama HOPE FOR JODY which
received development support from The Arts Council of
Wales, and his second feature project FOOT SOLDIERS,
which is currently at treatment stage. Jason is originally
from Wales, but currently lives in rural Somerset. His
Mentor is CHRISTOPHER HAMPTON (The
Quiet American, Atonement).
FAISAL A QURESHI
Faisal’s written work has previously been produced by Channel 4 and the BBC, he has also directed several short films and works as an editor and researcher with an interest in security issues. Faisal has written a moving drama GODS LONELY MAN about a British veteran of the Soviet-Afghan war who goes back to Afghanistan to find his nephew who has joined the Taliban. Faisal lives in Manchester and his Mentor is MARK PEPLOE (The Last Emperor). |
