ABIGAIL DAVIES
Abigail Davies has produced and executive produced
a slate of Digital Shorts for South West Screen and
Trickster Productions, including the award winning films
INDIANS and CLUTCH. She now works extensively as a freelance
script editor for BBC 2's MANHUNTERS series and Channel4/IWC
Media's new talent drama scheme COMING UP, in feature
and shorts development for Cornwall Film Fund and, most
recently, on Simon Bosanquet 's feature slate. She is
currently financing her first feature, THE OPEN ROAD,
with director Marc Jobst, alongside developing other
feature projects, including THE SILENCE by Australian
writer Don Watson (The Man Who Sued God). Her mentor
is STEVE CLARK HALL (Calendar Girls).
MIKE KNOWLES
Mike Knowles produced the BAFTA nominated short film
TALKING WITH ANGELS with director Yousaf Ali Khan. Mike
is currently closing the finance on his first feature
film, A BOY CALLED DAD which has been written by Julie
Rutterford and is to be directed by Brian Percival.
The film has sales and distribution in place and is
scheduled for production later this year. Since commencing
Guiding Lights, his company has also received development
support through Scottish Screen and the UK Film Council
for another film on its slate, GRANNY FLAT. His Mentor
is ANDREW EATON (The Road to Guantanamo,
A Cock and Bull Story).

LACHLAN MACKINNON
Lachlan is currently producing CITY OF VICE, a period drama for Channel 4, starring Ian McDiarmid and Iain Glen.
Lachlan produced a number of award-winning shorts including FLOATING and ONE MINUTE PAST MIDNIGHT for FilmFour/UKFilm Council's Cinema Extreme strand. His short BREAKING OUT premiered in Cannes' Critics’ Week. His Mentor is NORMA HEYMAN (Mrs Henderson Presents).
LAURA HASTINGS-SMITH
Laura has worked as a director and producer in TV and short films for much of the nineties, co-founding Dazed Film & TV in 2000. Laura has recently produced her first feature film, THE LIVES OF THE SAINTS, written by Tony Grisoni and, now freelance, is in development on two feature projects scheduled to film this year. Laura lives in London. Her Mentor is GRAHAM BROADBENT (Millions).
ELAINE WICKHAM
Since completing her MA in Feature Film Producing in 2003, Elaine has been
supported by Screen South, the European Development Fund and the British
Department of Trade and Industry. GYPO, the first film made after setting up
her independent company Medb Films with business partner Jan Dunn, was made
in 2004 and earned industry recognition and invitations to festivals around
the world. Elaine and Jan recently completed Medb Films’ second film, RUBY
BLUE and another feature is set for production in August 2007. Last year,
Elaine completed her directorial debut with a UK Film Council-funded short
film, MY MOTHER. Elaine is represented by William Morris in LA and Lou
Coulson Associates in London. Her mentor is MICHAEL KUHN (I Heart
Huckabees).
